1st day of Kindergarten
Abigail's first day of Kindergarten at Rural Point Elementary. She has Mrs. Harwood.
Abigail wants to be an artist when she grows up.
She was so excited! She jumped right out of bed (at 6:30am!), got dressed, ate breakfast and we were on the porch by 7:00am.
She had to wake Jonathan up so he could see her get on the bus too!
He was sad because he was going to miss her!
On the way down the sidewalk, she found a purple flower (weed) that she picked. She thought it meant "good luck".

Paw Paw was in town and was able to be at the bus stop too!
Jay went into work late. Please excuse me... I jumped out of bed too! I don't think I brushed my teeth yet. =)

Here comes the bus...
"Can I have a kiss please?" She was going to get on without giving me one!
Telling the bus driver her name was Abigail and she was in Kindergarten.
Seeing her little hand waving good-bye started the tears flowing... Happy Tears! I knew she was going to have a GREAT day! =)
