First Day of Preschool

Abigail wanted to take Tyrone with her, but I told her she had to leave him in the car. She was okay with that.

"I'm ready to go to school!"

She wanted to carry her tote bag.

She ran right in and gave her teacher, Mrs. Bosley, a big hug.

Mrs. Bosley asked her if she was ready to play. Of course she said "YES!"

At this point I was trying to say "good bye" to her, but she was too busy. =)

Picnic

Abigail asked if she could eat the rest of her sub on a blanket in the backyard. The ground was too wet to have a picnic at the playground.

Abigail has to take a picture of her family to school, so we took one for her to use.

Preschool Open House

Abigail attended her preschool open house yesterday. She was very upset when she found out I was going to stay with her. When I told her that I wanted to meet her teacher she said "okay, I guess you can go with me." I promised her that I would drop her off on Tuesday and she could stay all by herself. =)

She was very excited when we arrived at the church. I could barely get this picture of her... she was singing and dancing "I'm going to preschool! I'm going to preschool!" Then when we walked into the orientation she told Jonathan "This is my first day of preschool, Jonathan."

I had to make her leave when it was over. She wanted to stay. She is looking VERY forward to next Tuesday.

You can't see them very well, but she has on her brand new Dora tennis shoes that she picked out at Target. =)

Labor Day Weekend

Maw Maw and Paw Paw came to visit! =)

Paw Paw had to give him a bath. He was changing a poopy diaper and didn't get the new one on fast enough... he peed everywhere! =)

Paw Paw made Abigail a purple stage with sparkles. She loves performing on it! Throughout the day, she will grab the microphone and make an announcement. She thinks she's a reporter. =)

Abigail's cousin, Rachel, sent her this easel. She has been drawing on it constantly! Paw Paw took her to Target and got her new chalk, an eraser, and white board crayons.
